Maurice Leon -Teensie- Jarrett

Maurice Leon Teensie Jarrett, 90 of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Jane (Dorsett) Jarrett, daughters, Janet (Bill) Benedict, Carol (Marcus) Clark, Sandra (Doug) Mott, Lisa (Jim) Meyerrose, Paula (Jerry) Schutt, and son, Steven (Linda) Jarrett, grandchildren, Ronald (Connie) Fox, Jennifer (Daniel) Henry, Kevin (Amanda) Fox, Ryan (Su) Clark, Elizabeth (Paul) Carroll, Samuel Clark, Rebeckah (Jason) Forbes, Jon (Lynette) Mott, Nate (Angela) Mott, Phil (Kristen) Mott, Laura Mott, Marjorie Schutt, Andrew Schutt and Chris (Amy) Meyerrose, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

He was a WWII Army veteran where he served in Germany as an MP. He was a member of the Mt. Comfort United Methodist Church, Brookside Masonic Lodge, and was a former fire chief for the Buck Creek Fire Dept. He also owned Jarretts Appliance retiring in 1992.

Friends may visit from 4-8 PM Wednesday at Flanner and Buchanan Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. The Celebration of his life will be at 11 AM Thursday at the funeral center. Contributions may be made in his memory to the Hancock Regional Hospital Hospice.
