Maurice 'Dean' Gammon Anderson

M. Dean Anderson 79, Indianapolis, died April 10, 2011. She retired from Indianapolis Power and Light. She and her husband, Herbert, owned Mona’s Salads for many years. She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church #1. Dean was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Herbert; her parents; 3 brothers; 4 sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Rick) Gibson; grandchildren Taylor, Jordan, Ricky, Michael Gibson. Dean’s service will be Thursday, April 14 at 11 a.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Decatur Township. Visitation will be at the funeral center Wednesday, April 13 from 4 to 8. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hackerman-Patz House at Sinai Hospital, 2434 W. Belvedere, Baltimore, Maryland 21215.
