Matthew O'Brien

Matthew John O’Brien, age 33, of Zionsville went home to God January 28, 2011. He was born in Bryn Mawr, PA to John J. and Mary Jane (Braciale) O’Brien. Matt was a 1996 graduate of Zionsville High School, and a proud alumnus of Purdue University. He was a computer technical specialist for Bell Industries Technology Solutions Group. Matt was full of love for his family and friends, who will greatly miss him. He is survived by his parents, Jack and Mary Jane; brothers Gregory J. and John T. O’Brien (Katie); and 42 loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Matt was preceded in death by his grandparents John and Mary O’Brien and Thomas and Rose Braciale. Visitation will be at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church, 1870 W. Oak Street, Zionsville, where Matt was a member, Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011 from 4 to 8 pm, with a scripture service beginning at 7:45. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated Friday, Feb. 4th at 11 am, with calling one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Matthew may be made to St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church, Purdue University Athletics, c/o Purdue Foundation, 403 West Wood Street, West Lafayette, IN 47907 or the American Heart Association.
