Mary Wintin, 90 of Carmel, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017. Mary was born November 27, 1927 in Indianapolis to the late Leonard and Ella Cook. She was a graduate of Shortridge High School.
Mary met her future husband while working at Pierson Music after WWII. She later worked for Walker Research and retired as a real estate agent. Mary played Saxophone in the Belle’s Sharps and Flats, an all-girl dance band.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, December 18 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Carmel, where a private family service will be held on Tuesday.
Mary was the widow of Donald R. Wintin. She is survived by her sons, Dennis L. Wintin, Douglas R. (wife, Judy) Wintin and David A. (wife, Sherial) Wintin; grandchildren, Paul, Cara, Audrey, Erica, Daniel and Dustin; 13 great grandchildren.
