Mary Voivodas

Mary Voivodas 93, passed away September 3, 2012. Born October 21, 1918 in Haverhill, Massachusetts to Eustace D. Castanias and Cleopatra (Zilson) Castanias. In 1945, she married Michael G. Voivodas, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, James E. Castanias and Jesse E. Castanias and by her sister, Christy (Castanias) Davidson. Mary will be dearly missed by her two sons and daughters-in-law, George (Joyce) Voivodas and their children Kyle and Stacey, and Steve (Lisa) Voivodas and their children, Jennifer, Allison (Jason)Washington, and Christopher (Michelle), along with two great-grandchildren, Hayley and Kassidy Washington. She is also survived by her sister, Helen (Castanias) Steinkuhler. Visitation will be 10 a.m. and services at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 6 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 3500 W. 106th Street, Carmel, IN 46032 with interment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis.
