Mary Rose Roederer, 94, passed away peacefully in her home on December 22, 2021. She had a life well lived.

She was born on April 1, 1927 in South Bend, IN to the late Casimier and Louise (Mincinski) Slott. On May 19th, 1950 she married Roland Roederer. They celebrated 71 years together this past May.  She leaves behind her husband Roland and 3 sons, Ben (Marilee) Charlie (Barb), Jim (Peggy). Mary Rose was blessed with 10 grandchildren, Lisa Weber (Shad), Kyle Roederer, Kristin Smith (Kevin), Kraig Roederer (Wendy), Amy Urbanski (Mark), Lauren May (Colin), Tom Roederer, Ellie Mackey (Kyle), Michael Roederer, Quinn Roederer and 9 great-grandchildren, Alex and Abby Weber, Maddie, Kinley, and Elisabeth Urbanski, Connor and Emily May, Claire Smith and Frances Mackey.

Mary Rose was preceded in death by her parents, her twin brother Thomas Slott, her brother Casey Slott, and sisters Evelyn Borkowski, and Millie Zamiatowski.

In 2000, Roland and Mary Rose moved to Fishers, Indiana. This move made it even easier for them to be close to family. Mary Rose loved cheering on her grandchildren and attended all their extra-curricular activities. She enjoyed playing euchre with the River Glen Ladies Club every Friday. She spent the last 3 years as a resident of Meadowbrook Assisted Living. You were sure to find her playing Bingo, Bunko, and she was a member of the handbell choir.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Meadowbrook and especially, her loving caretakers Michelle, Stephanie, and Rose. We are so grateful for your tender care!
