Mary L. Roepke

Mary L. Roepke, 77, passed away on September 16, 2026.

Mary was born October 17, 1948, in Indianapolis, to Robert “Bob” and Ruth Roepke. She worked for RCA for several years and enjoyed spending time with the people she loved.

Mary enjoyed going to church, hanging out with friends, and family gatherings. She always kept up on the news, and politics were a top priority. Most of all, she cherished her two cats, Prince and Bailee, who brought her great joy.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Robert “Bob” and Ruth Roepke; sister-in-law Nancy Gibson; brother Ron Gibson; great-niece Jessica Gibson; and cousin Joy Roepke.

She is survived by her niece Jill Aker and family, nephew Jake Gibson and family, and many cousins from the Roepke side of the family.

Mary will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026, from 4PM-6PM at Flanner Buchanan—Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St. Indianapolis, IN, 46229. Mary will be privately laid to rest next to her parents in Washington Park East Cemetery.
