Mary R. Perkinson

Mary Perkinson Went to be with her Lord and family on May 20, 2014. She was born on March 20, 1944 in Indianapolis, IN to Paul and Wanda (Henricks) Maple. Mary married Jerry L. Perkinson on May 20, 1962. She worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 33 years, with 23 years being at the Southport Branch, retiring in 2000. Mary then worked for Kohl's Dept. Stores and retired in 2011 after 9 years of service. She loved doing family genealogy having worked at this for over 40 years and enjoyed being with family. Mary was a member of Greenwood Christian Life Church and American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #276. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; daughter, Cathy A. Kraft; her parents; sisters, Pamela Maple, Judy Mitchell and brother Richard Maple. Mary is survived by her daughter, Patti S. (Danny) Jackson, grandson, John B. Kraft, granddaughters, Alyssa M. Kraft, Michelle L. Panagopoulos and Melissa (Josh) Solomon. Step-grandson, Ian (Lexa) Jackson and 5 great-grandchildren, sisters, Betty J. Rogers, Myrl A. Miles, Pauline Ingalsbe, brothers, Paul S. Maple, James E. Maple and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 23, 2014 from 4 pm to 6 pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St, Indpls, IN, with a service beginning at 6pm. Burial will take place on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 1pm at Memorial Park Cemetery.
