Mary Mills

Mary E. Mills, 79, Mary went home to be with the Lord on April 6, 2014. She was a resident of Springhurst Health Campus in Greenfield. She was born on Feb 17, 1935 in Oconto, Wisconsin. Mary and her late husband Buel "Rocky" Mills were married on April 6th, 1954 and settled in Indianapolis when he retired from the U.S. Army in 1973. Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mary is survived by her son, Daniel John (Kendra) Mills of Greenfield, daughter, Sheree Lynn Mills of Indianapolis, four grandchildren, Kristin Sizemore of Lawrence, Nikki (Mike) Ballard of Indianapolis, Daniel Mills II of Washington, D.C. and Kiami Klingleschmidt of Indianapolis; and seven great-grandchildren; siblings are sister, Judy (Ken) Lafortune of Oconto, Wi, brother, Jim (Dede) Wasurick of Green Bay, WI, sisters, Donna Bushmaker, Sue Dumke and Janey Belongia all of Oconto, WI. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, an infant daughter, Laura Sue and son James Walter, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Viewing will be held on April 11, 2014 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Sherwood Hills Baptist Church, 10029 E. 30th St., Indianapolis. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM with Rev. Rob Pelkey officiating. A private burial will follow at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
