Mary Ruth McDonald “Aunt Ruthie”, passed away on November 2, 2023, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on July 13, 1938, in the quaint town of Breeding, Kentucky. Ruthie was known for her admirable career and wonderful personality, leaving behind cherished memories for all who knew her.

Dedicated to her work with unwavering commitment, Ruthie dedicated many years of service to Lee's Cleaning Supplies. Prior to that role, she worked as a Bookbinder at Rough Notes Co., where she showcased her skills and passion. After a fulfilling career journey, Ruthie embraced retirement and cherished the moments of leisure that followed.

One of Ruthie's greatest joys was spending time outdoors and immersing herself in the beauty of nature. Whether she was exploring Butler University or hiking through Eagle Creek, the vibrant colors and melodies from the birds brought immense happiness to her soul. Ruthie had a profound love for animals and cared deeply for her canine companions including Chevy-Miniature Pinscher and Lady-Boarder-Collie. In addition to dogs, she showered affection upon her cats Gray, Boots, and Tiger and many others along the way.

Mary Ruth McDonald will be remembered not only for her professional achievements but also for the warmth she brought into the lives of others. Her loving nature knew no bounds as she constantly shared kindness and generosity with those around her. She possessed a remarkable sense of humor that could lighten any room and bring smiles to faces.

Independent in spirit, Ruthie carried herself with poise and grace through life's ups and downs. Her strength inspired those who were fortunate enough to witness it firsthand. Ruthie leaves a legacy, rich in memories that will continue to resonate with family and friends for generations to come.

Ruthie is survived by her loving 106+ nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews. Ruthie did not pass alone as her niece Barbara, great niece Scharla, and great nephew Jack were by her side. She was preceded in death by her father, George Branham; mother, Lillie (Graham) Branham; sister, Shirley Mae Conkright; and brothers, Cecil Raymond Branham, George Lee Branham, James Robert Branham, Earl Leo Branham Sr., Kenneth Charles Branham, and Delbert Paul Branham. Those who were blessed to share their lives with Ruthie will forever hold her memory dear in their hearts.

Visitation services will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park North in Indianapolis, Indiana. A funeral service will follow on November 10, 2023, at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In honoring Ruthie's life and paying tribute to the remarkable person she was, let us remember her with love and appreciation. May her soul find eternal peace as we hold onto the memories that made her so special.
