Mary Esther McCleese

Fishers, Indiana – Mary Esther McCleese, 87, passed away on December 21, 2023. Mary Esther was born to Clarence G. and Jennie (Cleland) Lee on October 3, 1936, in Muskegon, Michigan.

Mary Esther worked for many years at AT&T in administration until her eventual retirement.

Mary Esther was fond of her walks, playing Euchre with friends, and spending time in Florida during the winter. She was active in her faith and enjoyed teaching Sunday school. Mary Esther was a kind and loving mother who supported her friends and family with her wise words and positive attitude.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the last love of her life, Patrick McCleese.

She is survived by her children, Joni Fleming (Tim), Susan Stadler (Rick), Deanna Stadler (Artist); grandchildren Christopher, Michael, and Bryan Downs, Alyssa, and Carly Drew; and great grandchild Oakley.
