Mary Rita Magoni

Mary Rita “Ree” Magoni, 78, of Zionsville, Indiana, passed away on July 28, 2025. She was born on March 10, 1947, in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, to parents, Paul J. Boylan and Elizabeth Boylan (McPherson).

Ree was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. One of her favorite games was Bunco. In Pennsylvania, she was one of thirteen Bunkettes who all got together to play the beloved game of Bunco. Ree spent most of her time caring for and enjoying precious time with her family, especially the grandkids.

Ree is survived by her loving husband, Gary Magoni; son, Paul Michael (Megan) Magoni; grandchildren, Marin, Elise, Jillian; siblings, Patrick J. Boylan, Jack Boylan, Lisbeth “Beth” Dias; nieces and nephews, Shannon, Lauren, Patrick, Adam, Alyssa, Matt, David, Kim, and Cathy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Edward A. Magoni

Visitation for Ree will be from 5 – 8 pm on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan – Carmel – 325 E. Carmel Dr., Carmel, IN 46032. A Funeral Mass will be at 10 am on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 14598 Oak Ridge Road, Carmel, IN 46032.
