Mary Louise (Moffitt) Ward

79, passed away peacefully at home on April 11, 2016. She was born on September 29, 1936 at Carrier Mills, Illinois to the late William (Bill) and Lorene Moffitt.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 61 years, Aubrey Ward; her daughters Lory Ward and Pam (Steve) Brunk; her son Dan (Debi) Ward; granddaughters Kara (James) Peterson, Megan and Brittany Ward, and Stacey (Chris) Gould; grandson Tony Brunk; great grandchildren Amiya, Lillian, Alexis, Charlotte, and Carson; sister Geraldine Hughes; and brother Charles Moffitt.

She was a member of the Beech Grove Order of the Eastern Star, and also served over 20 years in the Auxiliary at Community Hospital East, where she also volunteered in several other positions. She loved to garden and spend time with her family. Her and her husband loved to travel with friends.

Visitation will take place on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 4pm – 8pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis 46229. A memorial service will take place there on Saturday, April 16 at 4pm.
