Mary Lou Alexander

Mary Lou Alexander, 87 of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday July 28, 2021. She was born on April 19, 1934 in Frankfort, IN to the late Charles Kenneth and Lota Inez Alexander. Mary retired from RCA and Community Hospital East after many years of service. She was an active member of the Howe High School of Indianapolis Alumni Association. She loved her sisters and adored her nieces and nephews, often forgoing nice things for herself, to provide them with the best of the best. Later in life she was blessed with great nieces and nephews to continue her giving spirit with.

Mary is survived by her sister, Kay (Jim) Hurley; nieces, Kristy (Mike) Tutts, Kim (Tom) Farris, Lisa (Patrick) Nelson, and Pam Hurley; nephews, Larry (Claudia) Adams, and Jim Hurley; three great nieces; and six great nephews. She is preceded is passing by her brother, Larry Alexander; and sister, Beatrice Adams.

Friends and family are invited to gather beginning at 10:00 am on Monday August 2, 2021 at Victorious Life Church of the Nazarene (9917 E. 46th St., Indianapolis, IN 46235), where a funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm. Mary will be laid to rest next to her parents at Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort, IN.
