Mary E. Forsyth, 95, Indianapolis, passed away April 1, 2014. She was born January 18, 1919, in Sullivan, the daughter of the late Gilbert I. and Ruth M. (Thrasher) Gambill. She married Carson M. Forsyth on February 11, 1950. He preceded her in passing in 1983.
She graduated from Sullivan High School in 1936 and attended Lockyear Business College.
Mary was a member of Allisonville Christian Church.
She is survived by her two sons, Gilbert H. Forsyth and Donald W. (Louise) Forsyth; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Debbie Forsyth; brother, Charles Robert Gambill; and a sister, Juanita Osborn.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2014, at Flanner and Buchanan – Broad Ripple, 1305 East Broad Ripple Avenue. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Riley, Indiana. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
