Mary Ellen Liford Atwood 39, of Indianapolis, died Feb. 5, 2011. She was born Nov. 24, 1971, the daughter of Kenneth John and Pamela (Dobbs) Liford. She is survived by her husband, Paul Atwood; her parents listed above; her children, Wesley Ryan Atwood, Chelsie L.N. Gass (husband, Jake), Samantha Renee Pierce; her brother, Justin L. Liford-Jones; grandmother, Bernice Dobbs; granddaughter, Maleeha Ray Gass; mother-in- law, Peggy Stanton and step father-in-law, Bob Stanton; father-in-law, William "Skip" Atwood and step mother-in-law, Mary Atwood; brothers-in-law, William Atwood, Jr. (wife, Stacy), James Atwood (wife, Nikki); sisters-in-law, Mary Sawyer (husband,Thomas), Sarah Stanton (Jack Palmer); aunt and uncle, Betty (Fred) Smith; her dog, Ziggy. Visitation for Mary will be Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m. in Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center - Washington Park East.
