85, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, February 22, 2016. Mary was born in Indianapolis, IN on March 5, 1930 to parents, Delbert and Evelyn L. (Simmons) Hartsock. Mary had worked in customer service for Wilcher Produce. She was fun-loving, humorous, and a bit feisty. Mary enjoyed gardening, dogs and especially shopping.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert Hartsock and Evelyn L. Hartsock Davis; husband, Walter Wells; and children, Charles Allen “Sonny” and Rosemary Elaine Leathers. She is survived by her children: Judy Keene (Bo), Larry Leathers (Cathy), and Tina Leathers; grandchildren: Rosemary Jones (Keith), Stephen Bailey, Jr., Brandi Keene, Larry Leathers, II (Amy), Kenneth “Kenny” Leathers (Sandie), Allissa Hale (Jerry); 7 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Margie Elliott.
Calling will be held from 4pm until 8pm on Friday, February 26, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East, where funeral service will be held at 10am on Saturday, February 27, 2016. Entombment will be in Washington Park East.
