Mary E. Pennington

Mary E. Pennington 76 of Brownsburg, Indiana passed away March 22, 2023. She was born on December 27, 1946, in Elwood, Indiana to the late Clarence Verle and Florence (Abner) Creamer. Mary served as a Secretary for Entra and various other companies. She had served many years ago as a Girls Scout Leader, her family said she was a great cook creating wonderful dishes for everyone to enjoy, she enjoyed traveling with her husband to many worldwide destinations, China, was undoubtably one if not her favorite destination to have traveled to, and she dearly loved spending time with her family. She was loved by many and will be truly missed. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Chester F. Pennington, her children, Susie (Joe) Richey, Angela (Rob) Ruth, her grandchildren, Sean Richey, Jessica (Luke) Sturgeon, great granddaughter, Zoe Sturgeon, and her brother, Dona Creamer. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Dana Day. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, from 11:00am-1:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with the funeral following at 1:00pm.
