Mary Pauline Dossman, 78, of Indianapolis passed away, February 20, 2011. Pauline was born in Cincinnati, OH to the late Frank and Mary (nee Liedenheimer) Siefert on May 25, 1932, the youngest of 8 children. She attended St. Charles Boromeo and Our Lady of Angels High in Cincinnati, and graduated from Marian College, Indianapolis, in 1954. A Loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother, she returned to work outside the home at Marian College as an assistant in the Registrar’s office in 1972. In 1983, she found a similar position at Butler University where she remained until her retirement in 2004. Parishioner at St. Luke Catholic Church since 1964, she was active in several projects including a 2 year term on the Parish Council. She always felt her duties as a Eucharistic Minister the most spiritually rewarding for almost 20 years. Survivors include her loving husband of more than 55 years, James E. Dossman, Sr.; children, James E. (wife Christine), Jr., Laura M., Donna M. (husband Jeff) Bopp, Jeffrey M. (wife Penny) Dossman, and Martha M. (husband Michael) Matthews, and 10 grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 24, at St. Luke Catholic Church, Indianapolis, where friends may gather from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Entombment will follow at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, you are invited to make a memorial contribution to the Indiana Parkinson Foundation, National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville, IL, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
