Mary Concannon

Mary Margaret Concannon, 96, Indianapolis, passed away March 5, 2014. She was born April 18, 1917, in Poseyville, Indiana, the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Schafer. She married Vincent Michael Concannon Jr. on November 21, 1940. He preceded her in passing August 24, 1965. She was a devout catholic and member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Mary was an avid Pacers fan and bowler, a 56 year member of the St. Lawrence Ladies Bowling League. She also enjoyed playing cards. She is survived by her children, Vincent (Peggy) Concannon III, Dave (Anida) Concannon, Annette Marie Concannon (Michael) Shriner, Maureen Elaine Concannon (Mark) Peterson, Timothy Patrick (Pamela) Concannon; 18 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2014, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1827 Kessler Boulevard East. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2014, at Flanner and Buchanan – Broad Ripple, 1305 East Broad Ripple Avenue, with a prayer service at 5:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to EWTN, 5817 Old Leeds Rd., Irondale, AL 35210.
