Mary "Mary Fran" Coffeen-Mattingly 2/12/1954-11/25/2013
Born in Chicago, IL. to Rosemary P. Coffeen-Otten and the late Edward L. Coffeen, Mary moved with her family to Indianapolis at an early age and attended St. Joan of Arc and Christ the King Catholic grammar schools. Each Thanksgiving, she and her husband Jim generously participated in delivering dinners for the Rev. Mozel Sanders initiative for providing holiday meals to the less fortunate. Mary loved to travel, read and being outside in nature. She adored spending time with her loving grandchildren.
Mary was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother, as well as a devoted Christian who believed in God. Despite a long and difficult illness, Mary remained strong, positive, and determined, concerned more for the comfort of others than she did for her own personal challenges.
