Mary Catherine Mcgimpsey

Mary Catherine McGimpsey, 96, Indianapolis, went home to be with her Lord April 19, 2016. Mary was the widow of William T. (Mac) McGimpsey, who died in 1989 after 44 years of marriage. Mary was predeceased by her eldest daughter and son-in-law, Mary McGimpsey Bayliss and John Bayliss, Ph.D. of New Port Richey, FL. Mary is survived by one daughter, Theresa McGimpsey Topham (John), five grandchildren: Andy Bayliss (Chris) of Kansas City, MO; Jocelyn Bayliss (Don Gerken) of Floral City, FL; Lauren Topham Poynter (Steve) of Indianapolis; Amanda Topham (Tim Camargo) of Twin Lake, MI; and Ethan Topham. She had 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend special thanks to Alliance Health Care, the staff of Heartland Hospice and Hooverwood, who gave mom and us such wonderful care and guidance during her final years. Visitation will be held Monday from 10-12 at Flanner and Buchanan-Broad Ripple, 1305 Broad Ripple Ave. Funeral services will be held there at 12pm.
