Mary 'Cacky' Steele

Mary "Cacky" Steele 68, of Indianapolis, IN passed away July 25, 2015. She was born July 27, 1946, to the late Charles and Mary (Riat) Hartz. "Cacky" as she was affectionately called graduated from St. Mary's Academy, class of 1963. She retired from I.L.I.C (Indianapolis Life Insurance Company) after 33 years of service. Cacky is survived by her husband of 50 years, Franklin H. Steele, children, Robyn (Randie) Embry, Rhonda Steele and Eric (Kim) Steele, grandchildren, Randie Jr., Tiffanie, Danielle, Kayla, Rob and Drew, great-grandchildren, Tre, Bailey, Azaeis, Alaiyah, Andrea "Sissy", brother, Keith (Sandy) Hartz, special daughter, Carrie McAtee and a host of other relatives. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association of Indiana, 8604 Allisonville Road, Suite 140, Indianapolis, IN 46250. There will be an After Family Gathering immediately following services in the funeral center.
