Mary Beth Sutton

Mary Beth Sutton 84, of Greenfield, IN passed away October 7, 2026. She was born July 18, 1942, in Seymour, IN to the late Salmon "Sam" and Ruth (Trowbridge) Hotchkiss. After spending her childhood in Brownstown, IN, she moved on and was employed by the US Postal Service for 35 years, retiring in 1997. She married Stanley Sutton September 8, 1963, and enjoyed 47 years of marriage before his passing.

Mary Beth is survived by her children Scott (Amy) Sutton and Kelley (Roger) Brewer; brother David (Linda) Hotchkiss; grandchildren Breck (Matt) Simpkins, Branden (Taylor) Brewer, Dillon Sutton, and Allison (Jacob) Warrick; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother SM "Sammy" Hotchkiss.

Mary Beth was a member of Community Christian Church in New Palestine, IN. She was known for her generosity and love of family. She enjoyed Christmas, joining her friends for euchre and dominoes, reading, and decorating her home for each season. She also cherished her lifelong friend, Gayle Hughes, born just four days apart.

Visitation for Mary Beth will be Wednesday, October, 14th, 2026, from 10 to 12pm with funeral service immediately following at 12pm, at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center - Washington Park East.
