Mary Ann Carrera Bobo

Mary Ann Bobo, 84, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2011. She was born on December 12, 1926 in Clinton, IN to Pete and Catherine (Ciacotto) Carrera. Mary attended Marian college and worked for the IRS as an Assistant Problem Resolution Officer until her retirement in 1993. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill, and the Eagledale Neighborhood Association. Mary is survived by her children, Linda Bobo and Paul Bobo; grandchildren, Steven Bobo and Les Bobo; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Jordan and Jonathan. She is also survived by sister, Rosa Lee Miller and brother, John A. Carrera. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Dalton Bobo. Visitation will be held at the Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Speedway on Friday, February 18, 2011 from 6 until 8pm. Memorial Contributions may be given the St. Gabriel Catholic Church or the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill, Indianapolis Chapter. A graveside service will be held around 1 pm, Floral Park, on 425 N. Holt Road, Indianapolis, IN. Meet at the F&B Center shortly before 1 pm to caravan to the grave site. Farther Varghese from St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church will be performing the graveside service..
