Mary Alice (Delello) Adair,
94, of Franklin, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017. She was born in Pittsboro, Indiana on April 13, 1923 to the late Pete and Olive (Sullivan) Delello. She met her husband, Marion Haywood Adair; they were married on June 28, 1941 and with him, they raised 10 adoring children. Mary worked 18 years for L.S. Ayres in downtown Indianapolis before retiring. Mary enjoyed participating in church. She served her family and church as a prayer warrior, often asking for whom she could pray.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Marion; her daughter, Rosemary Handlon, daughter in law Margie Adair and son in laws Michael Handlon, Roger Savage and Louis Adams and her parents and siblings.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Marion Leroy and Annette Adair, Lloyd Eugene Adair, Olive Belle Savage, Kathleen Adams, Roy and Alice Rose, Donald “Mac” and Janet MacIntyre, John and Donna Adair, Larry and Patty Adair, and Anthony Adair; 18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 10 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan –Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd, Indianapolis, IN, 46222. Online condolences may be made to www.flannerbuchanan.com.
