Mary Adeline Canada

Click here to watch a video celebrating Mary's life. Mary Adeline (Crum) Canada 91, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday May 13, 2013. She was born January 21, 1922 in Kirksville, Indiana, one of ten children to Thomas and Alice (East) Crum. She graduated from Bloomington High School and served in the Womens Army Air Corps. She married Lloyd R. Canada in 1945. Mary retired from American States Insurance and was a volunteer at Community Hospital East. Mary was a longtime member of Post Road Christian Church. Mary, affectionately referred to as Aunt Mary, G-ma Mary, Grandma and Mom was an example of a godly woman to all. She is survived by three sons, Gary (Kellie), Mark ( Kathy), Scott (Kris); 6 grandchildren 1 deceased and 15 great grandchildren; her sister Dorothy Jones (Walter) and her brother Keith Crum (Iris), Funeral services will be at 12:30pm, Saturday May 18 at Flanner and Buchanan-Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St. Indianapolis, IN 46229, where friends are invited to visit from 10:30am until the time of service.
