66 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on May 22, 2025. Marvin was born on June 19, 1958, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Melvin and Virginia Trent. He was a retired self-employed contractor. He was preceded in death by his son Karl Carnes, brother Bobby Trent, sister Karen Mills and his parents. He is survived by his wife Brenda Trent, children Nicky McNew, Mike Carnes, Christina Carnes, Jennifer Price and Scotty Faulkner, brother Steve Trent, sister Sharyn (Larry) Curry, thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 4 to 8 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Funeral service will be Friday, June 6, 2025, at 10 am at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Entombment will take place at Floral Park Cemetery.
