Marvin 'Jock' Earles

Marvin "Jock" Earles, 82, Indianapolis passed away Feb. 4, 2014 at his home. He was born March 31, 1932 in Indianapolis to Redford and Mary (Payne) Earles. Marvin retired from Allison's in 1992 as a Machinist. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and awarded a Purple Heart. He was a member of VFW Post #1111, Mooresville, American Legion Post #64. Marvin enjoyed Fishing, hunting and being outdoors with family and friends. Marvin is survived by step-daughter, Sherry Sterner and her children Jeff Anderson and Mark Sterner also many nieces and nephew. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita (Froderman) Earles. Visitation will be from 2 until6 pm Feb. 8, 2015 at the funeral home. Services will be 11 am Feb. 9, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd.
