Marvin "Babe" Mullenix

It is with great sadness that Mavin Dale Mullenix, also well known as “Babe”, of Indianapolis Indiana, passed away on August 25, 2023, after 5 years of illness. He was 86 years old. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Dolly; daughter, Shari (Ted); grandchildren, Alex and Nicole; great grandchild, Aidric; brothers, Charles Mullenix and Jay (Lorene) Mullenix; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Marvin was born on June 18, 1937, to parents, Hobart and Sue Mullenix in Kingsport, Tennessee.

He served the army for 3 years. He enjoyed horse back riding and he also enjoyed horse racing and family gatherings.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Frensenius Dialysis Center and Amedisys (hospice).

Visitation will be from 10am-12pm on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East (10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229) with a funeral service at 12pm. The family invites all friends and guests to join in food and fellowship immediately following the service. Burial with military honors will take place at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown, IN, following the lunch, around 3pm.
