Martin George Lott

Martin George Lott, age 76 of Fishers, Indiana; passed away on April 20, 2011 in Indianapolis. He was born on August 25, 1934 to the late Robert M. an Viola M. (Carr) Lott in Waterloo, Iowa. Martin was a 1953 graduate of George Washington High School in Indianapolis, IN. after high school he joined the United States Army, Martin was honorably discharged from active duty in August of 1956 and spent five years in the Army reserve finishing his commitment in 1961. Mr. Lott retired from Allison Transmission in 1993 after 31 years of service working as a Production Machine Specialist. Martin loved all sports, but his favorites were the Colts, Pacers and NASCAR. He enjoyed putting puzzles together. Most importantly he loved his family whom will greatly miss him. His loving wife Barbara their two devoted sons Brian and his wife Diane Lott and Bradley Lott, Martin was a proud grandfather to Shauna, Christina, Cassie, Brittany and Colin, He also had the honor of being a great grandfather to Hayden. Mr. Lott is also survived by his sister Bert Ward. Preceding Martin in death is his daughter Tina Lott and a sister June Powell. Services for Mr. Lott will be held on Saturday April 23, 2011 at 11:00 am at Flanner and Buchanan Carmel Funeral Center where family and friends are invited to gather from 9:30 am till time of services on Saturday. Burial will follow services at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
