Martha Sue Brown

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Martha “Sue” Brown on January 12, 2024. 

Sue was born Martha “Sue” Foster in Columbus, OH, on November 4, 1934 and moved to Texas with her family while she was in the sixth grade.  As an adult, she returned to Columbus, OH, where she met and married her husband of 58 years, Frank J. Brown, who preceded her in death.  Frank and Sue moved their family to Indianapolis in 1977 where she worked in accounts receivable for Indiana Surgical and Owens & Minor Surgical Supply Company.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Brown, and son, David Brown. She is survived by her brother, Steve Foster, her sons, Jerry (Terri) Brown and Michael Brown, her daughters, Cathe (Ted) Martin, Kristi Walton and Lynn Greiner, and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Sue was recently reunited with a son she placed for adoption at birth, Gary (Diana) Randolph, who also survives. 

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan - Geist, located at 7855 Cork Road, Indianapolis, IN 46236.
