Martha Rust

Martha Alice Lawson Rust, 93, of Zionsville, died June 5, 2011. Martha was born November 17, 1917 in Burney Indiana to Herbert and Irene Lawson; they preceded her in death as did her husband, Thornton and her son, Larry K. Rust. Martha was retired from Walker Research. She was a member of Zion Evangelical United Church of Christ in Indianapolis and was a longtime volunteer at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Mrs. Rust is survived by her grandchildren, Kristin Bachman (John), Jennifer Holland (Seantae), and Joseph Rust (Joy); her great grandchildren, Rebecca Rust, Eleanor Rust, Taelynn Holland; and her daughter-in-law, Linda Rust. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm, Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center, Zionsville. A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the funeral center. Entombment will follow at Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown. Memorial contributions may be made to the Larry K.
