Martha Frances Tedrowe

Martha Frances (Rooker) Tedrowe, 87, of Indianapolis, passed away March 31, 2012. She was born May 16, 1924. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Robert, and brother, Robert Rooker. Survivors include her three children; Ruth Ann(Paul) Schwenke of Chapel Hill, N.C. , Barbara (Dwight) Steele, of Fairland, IN, Tom (Martha) Tedrowe of Columbus, IN; 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; sister, Wilma(Albert) Tavenor of Greenwood; and sister – in – law, Pat Rooker of Frankfort. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street. Visitation will also be held prior to the service on Wednesday from 11-1 PM at the funeral home. Martha was a longtime member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. She was also a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Greensburg and Bethany Lutheran Church in Indianapolis. She was a member of the Metropolitan Lutheran Choir, the Order of the Eastern Star(Irvington Chapter), and enjoyed painting and playing bridge.
