Marsha J. Passwaiter

Marsha Joan Passwaiter, 80, of Franklin, passed away peacefully June 23rd, 2024, surrounded by her children and grandchildren in her final hours. 

She was born February 18th, 1944, in Indianapolis to the Late James Marshall Wise and Thelma Louise (Biech) Johns. 

She attended Arsenal Tech high school. 

On February 29th, 1992, she married Randall Passwaiter. Randall precedes Marsha in death. 

Marsha enjoyed church, family gatherings, camping, teaching Bible study, and spending time with her family. 

She worked as a supervisor for Continental Building services for 18 years before retiring. 

Marsha is survived by two sons John (Jessica) Viles of Monrovia, Matthew (Candi) Viles of Franklin, three daughters Michelle Lyster of Indianapolis, Robin Johnson of Indianapolis, and Dawn Boggs of Indianapolis; eleven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; sister Margaret Edwards of Camby, and brother Chris Johns of Florida. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Randall; her parents; her sisters Mary Thomas and Clara Haddix; her daughter Loretta Murray, and three grandchildren. 

Visitation for Marsha will be Friday July 5th at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East, from 11-1pm. Her funeral will begin at 1pm. She will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
