Marlow Nolan, 91, of Indianapolis passed away on March 9, 2016.
Born on December 17, 1924 to the late Kenneth and Alice Nolan in Pine Mountain, Kentucky. After graduating high school Marlow served in the United States Navy from 1943-1949 and worked aboard the USS Washington. He retired as a supervisor from Kroger after 15 years. In his free time he loved to tend to his garden. He had rose bushes that were over 50 years old. Marlow was a man of great faith, he loved his Lord and read his bible every day.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Nolan, children; Larry (Lidia) Nolan, Freddie Nolan, Jerleen (John) Giffith, and Aileen (James) Ray, 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 5 great great-grandchildren, and one brother, Clyne Nolan. He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
A funeral service will be held 10:30am on Saturday, March 12 with visitation from 9-10:30am at the Flanner and Buchanan- Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington Street. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
