Marlene Sue Hague (Cameron) 86, died on August 1, 2022, after a brief illness.
She was born on September 25, 1935, in Bicknell, Indiana to Charles Cameron and Helen (Cameron) Burton.
Marlene attended Arsenal Tech High School in Indianapolis. She was employed as a dental hygienist and as a retail detective for Seaboard Service Systems. Marlene was long time member of Union Chapel Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Glen E. Hague; and her son, Ed Hague.
Marlene is survived by her daughters, Ronna (Darryl) Rice, Tracie (Joe) Kern, Nanci (Todd) Browne, Mary (Joseph) D’Onofrio and Karen Hague; as well as 15 grandchildren, Cameron, Emily, Mitchell, Olivia, Hannah, Katie, Catherine, Andrea, Maggie, Martha, Matthew, Anthony, Josh, Lindsay, Jake; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Marlene, known as “Memaw/Mimi” to her family will be remembered most of all for her strong faith, being a prayer warrior, her wonderful cooking, her sense of humor, strength and fortitude, and the love and caring she showed her family and others in need.
Private family services were held. She was laid to rest at Union Chapel cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan – Broad Ripple. In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor can be made to Union Chapel Methodist Church, Indianapolis, Indiana (www.unionchapelindy.org)
