It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Rosenberger, 54, a beloved husband, son, father, and friend. Mark passed on September 1, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with kidney disease. Mark is survived by his loving wife Lisa and their two children Maria (13) and Jake (11). Mark is also survived by his Parents Jerry and Sandy Rosenberger of Westfield, and his sister Jill (John McManus) of Carmel. Mark and his family moved to Westfield, IN when he was in second grade. Mark graduated from Westfield High school where the strong friendships he made stayed with him throughout his life. After graduating from Westfield in 1989, Mark was off to Ball State University. While at BSU, Mark continued to participate in sports being named to the freshman All American Rugby Team. While at Ball State, he met Lisa and their life began together. After College they were married and settled in Fishers, IN. Lisa began working as a teacher in the Pendleton school system. Mark's professional life consisted of many jobs; he started as an electrician, an airplane mechanic, outdoor advertising at Jewell Outdoor, Northview Church Carmel Campus and became a general contractor as well. Mark loved to work with his hands and was always willing to help a friend or neighbor with any job big or small. In 2011, Mark became seriously ill requiring him to need a liver transplant. During Mark's recovery his faith was rekindled and Mark and Lisa became active in the Northview Christian church. Mark and Lisa started their family and welcomed Maria and then two and a half years later welcomed Jake. Mark's pride and greatest joy in life has been to spend time with his family and watching his children grow. He will always be their biggest fan.Throughout Mark's life and especially in his times of illness, Mark was a shining example of how a smile and a story can get you through just about anything. He brought light, laughter, and a magnetic energy that drew people in. His outgoing spirit, infectious smile, and personality could fill any room, and his joy was truly contagious. Whether he was cracking a joke or lending a hand to someone in need, Mark lived every day with heart. He made everyone feel welcome, important, and loved. His presence was a gift to us all. Although he is now gone and will be missed, he will never be forgotten. Visitation will be held at Flanner Buchanan-Hamilton Memorial Park (Prairie Waters) in Westfield, IN on Saturday, September 13th from 10:30-11:30am where we will gather to honor the remarkable man he was. A memorial service will follow at 11:30am in the same facility. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Indiana Donor Network via online on their website in Mark’s memory. He was one of a kind- and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know and love him.
