It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mark McNulty, who left us for eternal life on May 6, 2025. He passed peacefully while surrounded by his family. Mark was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and cherished friend to many, known for his sense of humor, loyalty, and generosity. He will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Mark was born on August 8, 1949 in Logansport, IN to Charles and Mary McNulty. He graduated with honors from Lewis Cass High School where he received numerous awards and served as Student Body President. He attended Purdue University as an English major and received a B.S. in Business from Indiana University in 1977 graduating Summa Cum Laude. At Purdue, Mark joined Theta Chi Fraternity where he made lifetime friends with many of the brothers. While there, he also performed as lead singer and bassist in the groups Dave, Mark, & I and The Dan McGuire Trio.
Throughout his professional life, Mark achieved many milestones and left a lasting impact on those around him. He founded, owned and operated HR Dimensions (later HRD Advisors) from 1997 until his retirement in 2020, with previous leadership roles at Maplehurst, Inc. and SM&P Utility Resources.
Mark celebrated 50 years of marriage to Ann Dreher last summer, marked by a vow renewal and celebration with family. Besides playing the piano and singing in Church choirs, Mark enjoyed traveling extensively throughout the world with wife Ann, having taken over 50 cruises. Mark was a lifelong Purdue Boilermaker fan and enjoyed following the football and basketball teams and attending bowl games. After retiring, Mark and Ann moved to Ft. Myers, FL, where he enjoyed happy hours on his lanai in the sunny FL weather.
Mark is survived by wife Ann, daughters Sarah (husband Brandon Whalen), Molly (husband Chad McIver), and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by brother and best friend, Fred McNulty (Valparaiso, IN), many nieces and nephews, and countless dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Herb, Wayne, Gene, Carl. and sister Marilyn.
A celebration of life service will be held on May 29, 2025 at Flanner Buchanan Hamilton Memorial Park (4180 Westfield Road, Westfield, IN), where we will gather to celebrate Mark's life and share our fondest memories. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 p.m. with service and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Kidney Fund or Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
