Mark Alan Haughton passed away Monday, December 20, 2010 after a serious cancer diagnosis nearly seven years ago. Mark was fortunate to be under the care of Dr. Keith Loggie, who helped him live much longer than most with this type cancer.
Mark is survived by his father, Max S. Haughton and stepmother, Susan Ritter Haughton, his brother, Michael J. Haughton, sisters Pamela L. Hamm, (Keith), Sherri M. Neal, and Dawnn Weisinger (Jeff). He is also survived by nephews Bryce and Logan Neal, Ross and Sam Haughton, Chase and Max Hamm, Aidan Weisinger, and nieces, Hannah Neal and Hillary Millspaugh. His wife, Melonie Adams Haughton, and mother, Barbara Jean Hohn Haughton preceded him in death.
Mark was employed by Konica Business Technologies prior to his disability. Mark and his wife Melonie enjoyed their home and traveling especially to Las Vegas. Mark loved to cook and enjoyed making wonderful meals.
The family is very grateful to all who helped care for Mark, Dr. Loggie and the nurses at his office, all the nurses and staff at The Hearth at Tudor Gardens in Zionsville, the nurses and staff at Community North Hospital.
Services for Mark will be on Monday, December 27, at 1 p.m., with visitation from 11 a.m. to time of service at the Flanner & Buchanan Mortuary, 105 West Pine Street, Zionsville, IN and burial immediately following at Zionsville Cemetery.
