Mark Richard Dearholt, 57, of Zionsville died February 20, 2013. He was born January 2, 1956 in Indianapolis to the late Herbert E. and Betty Jane (Moore) Dearholt. Mark was a graduate of Pike High School. He married his wife of nearly 32 years, Suzanne Massing, on June 13, 1981. Mark retired in September of 2011 after 35 years with UPS, where he worked in the warehouse and maintained the belt systems.
Mark enjoyed fishing, gardening, biking, and outdoor activities, and loved traveling to Florida and walking Cocoa Beach. He treasured time spent with his wife, children, and one-year old grandson, Jack. Mark and Suzie attended Traders Point Christian Church.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Suzie; his son Jason (Korena) Dearholt and their son Jack, and daughter Sara (Dennis) Burkett. He is also survived by his sister Vicki LeBris (Chris). Mark was preceded in death by his sister Diana Barrett.
A memorial service is planned for Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Zionsville. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eagle Creek Park Foundation.
