Mark Henry Colangelo

Rock Hill, SC. | Mark Henry Colangelo, 65 (DOB: February 26, 1961)., of 1320 Hollydale Drive, Rock Hill, SC 29730, passed away peacefully April 17, 2026

He was raised on the east side of Indianapolis, Indiana, and was the son of Donald Basile Colangelo and Anna Shirley (Notaro) Colangelo, who passed away in 2011 and 2018, respectively. He graduated from Warren Central High School in 1979 and later moved south to be closer to family in the greater Charlotte, NC area.

Mark spent his career in restaurants and distribution centers.

In addition to his parents, Mark was pre-deceased by his grandparents Leo (Angeline Raosto), Notaro, Henry (Flora Terranova) Colangelo; his Uncle S. Wayne Notaro (Godfather); and his step-niece Vanessa Moreno.

He is survived by a brother, Richard Allan (Maria) Colangelo and children Maria Manuela (Benjamin) Patino (son Thiago) and Alejandra (Jeff) Kim-Sanchez ; nephew, Kristopher (Alyssa) Logan Colangelo and daughters Emerson Rose, Riley Joy, and Ashton Ann; ex-sisters-in-law Jerilyn Voyles (daughter Kara) and Maricela Colangelo (daughter Ruby Moreno); Aunt Pat Notaro; Caroline (Frank) Aquilina (Godmother); Five first cousins: Mike (June) Notaro, Michele (Steve) Eckler, Rob Notaro, Matt (Mara) Notaro, and Melissa Davies.

Mark's final resting place will be beside his parents at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, located at 9700 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250. Also residing at the same cemetery are his paternal grandparents, Henry, and Flora (Terranova) Colangelo.
