Marjorie Merritt

Marjorie Ann Merritt Marjorie Ann Merritt was born in Indianapolis on January 31, 1929 and died on December 3, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl T. Merritt; parents Cecil and Inez Hartman; sisters Rose Edwards and Sue Baringer. Marjorie was a graduate of Broad Ripple High School. She had a successful career in real estate that spanned over 20 years and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother who was known for her caring and generosity. She is survived by her children David Zintel, Ann Brown (Paul), Thomas Merritt (Kimberly) and Stephen Merritt (Mishelle) as well as several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a great grandchild. Visitation will be Sunday, December 8 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Broad Ripple with services at 4:00 p.m. Inurnment will be at Union Chapel Cemetery at a later date.
