Marjorie G. McLary
90, of Indianapolis, passed away October 20, 2015. Marjorie was born in Dale, Indiana on April 29, 1925 to the late Charles A. and Thelma Mattox and graduated from Shortridge High School.
Thelma was a member emeritus of the White River Sound Chorus of Sweet Adelines International and enjoyed reading in her spare time.
Marjorie was a loving wife, devoted mother and dedicated and caring friend, who was greatly loved by everyone who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Dudley McLary and a sister, Vaughn Barnes. Left to cherish her sweet memory are her children, Debbie G. Thistle (Paul) and David C. McLary (Rita); five grandchildren; and one great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Park Square Manor and Seasons Hospice for their wonderful care and concern of Marjorie and their family during this time.
Calling will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, October 23, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan- Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite) where her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 24th. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her beloved White River Sound Chorus of Sweet Adelines International.
