Marjorie Joann Hasseman Miller

Marjorie Joann Hasseman Miller, 71, Carmel, passed away on February 21, 2012. She was born in Wooster, OH. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, Russell Hasseman and Hilda Hutchison Hasseman. She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Miller; daughters, Erin Miller and Kerry (Jim) Chafin; and granddaughter, Emily Chafin. Other survivors include her sister, Elaine (Dick) Liller; brothers, Russell (Marilyn) Hasseman and Kenneth Hasseman; brother-in-law, Maurice Logsdon; aunt, Velma Schumacher; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A graduate of Dalton High School in 1958 and The Ohio State University in 1962, Marjorie was a homemaker and had a 20-year career with MSD Washington Township Food Service Department, 16 years of which were as Supervisor of the Department. She was a Past President of the Marion County and Indiana School Nutrition Associations. Visitation will be on Friday, February 24 from 4-7 PM at Flanner and Buchanan- Carmel, 325 E. Carmel Drive. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 25 at 11 AM (visitation at the church from 10-11 AM) at Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, where she was a member, having served as a Deacon, Stephen Minister and member of OPPC Quilters.
