Marion R. Simpson

Marion R. Simpson, veteran of World War 2, died July 30, 2021. Born July 4, 1923
At Gentryville, Indiana to G. R. and Florence Simpson. Margaret, his wife of 66 years, survives him. One daughter, Elizabeth Ann Simpson also survives. He was predeceased by his parents and brothers Warren and Earl and sister Maurine Beach.
Marion graduated from Carmel High school in 1941 in a class of 40 . He served in the United States Army Air force from 1943 to 1946. He began working at Indiana National Bank as a messenger and retired fifty years later as a vice president.
Marion was a member of St. Margaret of Scotland Anglican church, Carmel Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite.
Funeral services are pending. Burial will be at Ames Chapel Cemetery, Orange county Indiana.
