Marina T. Mavrikis

Marina T. (Bakalis) Mavrikis 77 of Carmel, IN passed away December 24, 2021. Wife of Thomas G. Mavrikis and mother of Gus  and John Mavrikis, mother-in-law of Andriana Mavrikis and grandmother of Thomas Mavrikis. Marina was the most generous, kindest and loving person in our lives. She was a person of many talents. She was a seamstress and restaurant owner for 40 years. Mom we will miss your cooking and how you took care of all of us. You were selfless in all your actions. Mom we will miss your cooking and how you took care of all of us. You were selfless in all your actions. When you love a person more than you love yourself, that person will truly be missed. Mom, thank you is not a strong enough word for everything you have done for all of us. Everyone you have had contact with loved and adored you. May your MEMORY BE ETERNAL. Marina was preceded in death by her parents, George and Katerini (Papavasiliou) Bakalis and her brother, Andoni Bakalis and her sister, Afroditi Bakalis. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday Dec 29, 2021 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral at 11 am with calling from 9:30 am to service time. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Flanner Buchanan-Carmel are handling arrangements.
