Marilynn J. Federle 88 of Brooksville, FL, formerly of Indianapolis passed away in Brooksville on January 19, 2013. She was born February 10, 1924 in Indianapolis to John C. and Leora Thorpe Asbury. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, William R. Federle, her daughter, Celeste Federle and brothers, Robert and Hugh Asbury. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Stephen R. (Geraldine) Federle, Gregory J. Federle and Deborah (Ray) Robertson, 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Marilynn worked at Indiana Bell and William H. Block Co. at the Glendale Mall. She was very active with the Sweet Adeline's, singing in the Capital City Chorus and the Heart of Indiana Chorus in Indianapolis and the Magic of Manatee Chorus in Bradenton, FL. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing and music. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 24, 2013 with the funeral service being held at 11:00 AM Friday at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Sweet Adeline's Chorus.
