Marilyn Ward

Marilyn Louise Ward 83, of Zionsville joined our heavenly father on Saturday May 4, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband William (Billy) Ward, her parents Ivan and Ruth Hancock, and her step-brother Larry Clifton. Marilyn is survived by her adoring children Sharon Ward (Glen), Joe (Julia) Ward, Ronald (Shirley) Ward. She was blessed with 9 beautiful grand-children: Justin, Chad, Cameron (Rachel), Morgan, Laura, Sarah, Jimmy, Sara, Dillon; and her great grandson Sam. She has lived in Zionsville her entire life, 1948 graduate of Zionsville High School. She has worked for Herff-Jones where she made class rings for many graduates. Marilyn retired from Eagle Union Elementary after 20 plus years were she enjoyed working with all the elementary children in the cafeteria. As a lifelong member of the Trader's Point Church of Christ – Indianapolis she devoted her life to the Lord and her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all whom were blessed to have known her. Visitation will be held Friday May 10, 2013 from 4:00pm-8:00pm with Funeral Service Saturday May 11, 2013 beginning at 11:00am @ Flanner and Buchanan- Zionsville located at 105 W. Pine St – Zionsville, IN 46077 Burial following Service will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery (Indianapolis) Memorial Contributions can be made to St Vincent's Hospice whom the family is forever thankful for their tireless care and compassion during this time.
