Marilyn Jean (Matrau) Shumar
80, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 30, 2017. She was a 1958 graduate of Moody Bible Institute. She had taught Sunday school for many years at the Wheeler Mission. She is survived by husband, J. Richard; children, Laura (Aaron) Shumar, James (Anne) Shumar, Nancy (Justin) Shumar, Linda Shumar, John (Sarah) Shumar and Cynthia Shumar; grandchildren, Hailey and Danielle and seven step-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 4 to 8 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Broad Ripple. Service will be Thursday, January 4, 2017 at 11 am at Flanner Buchanan-Broad Ripple. Burial to follow at Washington Park North Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Wheeler Rescue Mission. www.flannerbuchanan.com
